Exhibitions and Workshops

Organising exhibitions belongs to the more general but no less important activities of the Library, because of the rich collection at its disposal. The main aim of these is to present the collection to library users and the general public. The rich and diverse character of the literature in stock enables the Library to cover a great variety of themes. The Library user profile has the main role in the choice of themes.

Organisation of academic discussions, workshops and book promotions also belong among the more general Library activities. The choice of themes is determined by the specific interests of Library users.

Both activities have, first of all, an educational and informative character, but concerning the Library profile and the target group of visitors, they represent a valuable contribution to our science and culture.
